Sizing from real consumption
Look at the consumption between late afternoon and the next morning, not the daily total. A battery that covers most evenings is used every day; a much larger one sits partly unused for much of the year.
Modular batteries let you start smaller and add modules later, within the limits the inverter and battery datasheets set.
Low-voltage or high-voltage
Low-voltage batteries connect modules in parallel and pair with low-voltage hybrid inverters; they suit most single-phase homes.
High-voltage batteries stack modules in series and pair with high-voltage hybrid inverters; they are common in larger and three-phase homes.
All-in-one
All-in-one systems put the battery and power electronics together. They save planning and wiring, and some can be added to an existing solar system.
